What CAN I do with the HTML field?

I'm glad you asked! By using the HTML field on Sets, you can:

  • Inject custom HTML with CSS styling

  • Embed HTML snippets

  • Create custom-styled tables

  • Use merge tags

Note: Due to security reasons, we do not allow JavaScript files to be embedded.

Also note: In its current state, the HTML field does not have a "Code View," but we plan on adding that in the future.

What CAN'T I do with the HTML field?

There's always something right?

  • You cannot embed JavaScript files due to security reasons.

  • You cannot access a "Code View," although we plan on adding this in the future.

  • You cannot change the border color of tables using the table formatting options.

How do I set up and configure the HTML field?

Here are some step-by-step instructions (assuming you know how to add Fields to Sets already):

  1. Create a new Field on your Set and choose the HTML type.

  2. Within the Field Options, you can:

    1. Inject custom HTML with CSS styling

    2. Embed HTML snippets

    3. Create custom-styled tables

    4. Use merge tags

      1. In order to use merge tags, ensure that the "Allow merge tags" checkbox is checked in the Field Options area.

And that's all there is to it!
